In the end you may be paying $10 for a $60 game. This is only for Steam (which you can download on your computer) of course. There's also Origin (where you'd find your EA games) and many other platforms where you can download games on sale. PC's open platform means that you don't have to pay $60 a year to play online (Thanks a lot Xbox Live).
